Problem
Our nonprofit partner, iSPACE, provides innovative and engaging STEM educational programs from field trips to summer camps. In order to achieve their mission, they outreach and engage with schools and educators who in turn book iSPACE’s facilities for STEM programs and events. iSPACE previously used a shared excel spreadsheet to organize its outreach and program-related data, and coordinate logistics for their programs. Using this spreadsheet became difficult for the organization to maintain and was especially onerous for iSPACE’s team to generate a simple report.
Solution
Matched through Prometheus, a data engineer from our volunteer network created a program tracker in iSPACE’s CRM tool, Monday.com that streamlined their workflows. The data engineer migrated iSPACE’s program data and set up workflow automations, including email notifications to schools, and an analytics dashboard to highlight key program and partnership metrics, saving the organization time on manual tasks and reports. This saved time will enable iSPACE to focus on more mission-driven initiatives, including innovative programming, outreach to underserved communities, and strengthening donor communications with accurate and complete data.
